TEJATI

Sovereign precision agriculture, edge telemetry, and regional harvest liquidity.

TEJATI (Transforming Ecosystems for Jobs in Agriculture through Technology and Innovation) is the national flagship agricultural transformation initiative developed under the Ministry of Agriculture & Livestock Development, anchored in partnership with INAPS and The Mô∅D Label. Formally launched on 29 November 2024, TEJATI targets the creation of 500,000 new jobs annually along the agri-food value chain. The initiative integrates four core pillars: Technological-Agricentric-Apprenticeship Model (TAAM) Farms, School AgriCentric Model (SAM), 4K-5K-YADI youth continuum, and MAMLEZI maternal nutrition pods — all verified through the TEJATI Impact Validation Index (TIVI).

Flagship Pillars & Field Implementations

Structured national delivery tracks documented in official TEJATI programmatic charters.

  • 1
TAAM Farms • Technological-Agricentric-Apprenticeship Model Advanced 50–300 acre agricultural transformation hubs integrating precision farming, IoT telemetry, and renewable energy, employing 231 youth per farm across 282 planned installations nationwide.
  • 2
4K-5K-YADI Youth Progression Continuum Tiered agricultural leadership pipeline engaging primary school 4K clubs (ages 3–18), technical 5K young adults (ages 19–24), and Youth in Agribusiness Development Initiative (YADI, ages 25–35) with commercial funding and market linkages.
  • 3
MAMLEZI Maternal & Community Nutrition Pods Community-led agricultural solutions delivering targeted nutrition, smart solar irrigation, and dedicated farming resources to prenatal and breastfeeding mothers across marginalized rural corridors.
  • 4
AgriEVERse & Ward Aggregation Hubs Decentralized knowledge management and cooperative trade infrastructure establishing 50 Ward Aggregation Centers connected to digital grain ledgers and national seed banking frameworks.
